On the occasion of Milan Photo Week 2018, ASSAB ONE hosts Urbiquity Urban Lab Milano from the 4th to the 10th of June: a week-long visual urbanism residency, aimed to create experiences and to produce a body of work by learning about the geopolitical context and the specific urban struggles facing the city.

Urban Lab Milano '18

Urbiquity is a platform for creative and critical urbanism, founded in 2014 by Stefano Carnelli, Pablo Canejo and Mattias Malk. After Madrid and Tallinn residencies in 2017, whose resulting projects were shown at the Tate Gallery in London, Urban Lab arrives for the first time at Milan. Under the topic of In Transit, the Lab will focus on the area of  Via Padova and its surroundings.

It offers a programme of walks, talks with local and foreign urban experts and group discussions, with the goal of gaining a deeper understanding of the current changes in the area. The Urban Lab will be based in ASSAB ONE and will culminate in an exhibition with all the participants works.
