Stella is a guidebook, illustrated by its author, to the island of the same name situated in the southern Aegean and which attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world. But Stella is also a journey into the history of art and a reflection on landscape in the era of mass tourism and the digital screen.

Biography

Flavio De Marco (Lecce, 1975) is a visual artist. He has exhibited in a number of personal and group shows both in Italy and abroad, and has collaborated on a number of interdisciplinary projects linked to publishing (he is co-founder of the magazine “Rivista”). He currently lives and works in Berlin.
