Mnemo Lab comprised an open session for the sharing of work, information, experience and materials. The main theme was emotional memories, of people, places and the community.

Mnemo Lab was part of the Mnemosine project by Effetto Larsen. For the Greeks Mnemosyne was the personification of memory: daughter of Uranus and Gea, Sky and Earth, and mother of the Muses. Art, in all its forms, originates in the past, or rather from the traces of the past to be found in us; our ability to grasp something of that past is born from the meeting of Sky and Earth, the human and the divine, understood in the most productive sense.
