La mostra

The exhibition illustrates, through a photo reportage and texts and extracts from the book, the sites and places explored by the authors: the new large-scale urban development of Santa Giulia, the Pompeo Leoni residential development, the Gratosoglio public housing estate, the dense inner city neighbourhoods of Canonica-Sarpi and via Padova.

The survey is of extreme interest for the current debate on urban and social change in Milano and display the joint contribution of different disciplines: photograpt, urban planning, social and political sciences, offering an innovative contribution to the debate on the current and future development of the European city.
