Eleven authors, born mostly in the Seventies, offer a transverse portrait of a country in vertiginous mutation. Every story is accompanied by a short biography and interview with the author.

Biografia

Gioia Guerzoni lives in Milano and has been translating fiction for the last twenty years. During this time she has explored English across many different geographies – Ben Marcus, Teju Cole, Jonathan Lethem, Siri Hustvedt, Paula Fox, Colm Tóibín – moreover on the subcontinent, thanks to her long stays in urban India – Tishani Doshi, Altaf Tyrewala, Amruta Patil and others. She works as a scout for South East Asia fiction for publishers such as Il Saggiatore and with the literary agency Pontas.

Leonardo Merlini, is a journalist and cultural critic for the press agency TMNews. For many years, he has been sharing books and literature in unusual places. He’s the founder of the cultural project BeBookers in association with Marianna Albini.
