Press release

Taking opera beyond the confines of traditional theatres and into spaces open to creativity—this is the ambitious goal of a collective of young talents led by the cultural association Threes. Their vision is to return to Milan the possibility of experiencing an art form that, while not always accessible, has long made the city world-renowned.

On May 16 and 17, the collective presents a captivating reimagining of Mozart’s Così fan tutte, ossia La scuola degli amanti—adapted for a chamber quartet and staged within the evocative setting of Assab One.

A Collective of Under-Thirty Creatives
What makes this performance truly unique, beyond its location, is the team behind it: an ensemble of under-thirty artists and professionals. From singers and musicians to set designers, directors, musicologists, and young entrepreneurs, they have come together in the belief that this debut experience can become the seed of a broader, long-term initiative—one that brings together emerging artists from across Milan’s diverse academies.

Threes: Research, Time, and Simplicity
Threes is a cultural association founded on the belief that research, time, and simplicity are essential pillars for any innovative creative process. By continuously reinterpreting and applying these elements, Threes aims to foster a high-quality cultural journey—one that gives rise to new forms of expression grounded in sustainability and accessibility.

From these foundations emerged the Opera and Techno Portraits projects—initiatives that push the boundaries of performative and auditory experiences.
